When you do go to the gym, you should focus on free weights because you will get more from these. The big guys at the gym are always lifting these free weights. The exercise machines are good and they do help you keep fit but they won’t do much for your muscle growth.
Once you start seeing some changes in your body, it can get very exciting and you might feel like going to the gym everyday. This is not really advisable because you need to have some time for rest.
